NDS
Pacific Electronics NDS Duty Stations are used in the NC-9100 Nurse Call System to alert nursing personnel of incoming calls in the system. The duty stations are usually located in utility , linen, nurse’s duty and work areas remote from the annunciator.

OPERATION
When a call is placed, the duty station provides visual and audible annunciation. Normal, Emergency, and Code Blue calls shall be indicated as follows: Normal- Call Placed/Normal Call steadily with very slow on/off beeping tones.
Emergency - Emergency Call LED flashes with slow on/off beeping tones.
Code Blue (Smoke Detector) - Emergency Call LED pulsates with rapid on/off beeping tones.

The audible tone from a normal call may be silenced at an individual duty station by pressing its “ Buzzer” silence switch in. This
turns on the green “ silence” LED. However, emergency and code blue annunciation tones will not be silenced

EQUIPMENT
The duty station has a red “Call Placed” LED for visual call annunciation and a beeper for audible call annunciation of normal, emergency, and code blue (smoke detector calls). It is furnished with a plastic faceplate which mounts to a back plate for flush mounting.

SPECIFICATIONS

Front Plate: Plastic single gang plate which mounts to back plate.

Back Plate: Holds electronic chassis and mounts to single gang electrical back box. Minimum depth: 2-3/4”.

Control (s): Buzzer silence slide switch to silence audible signaling of normal calls.

LED’s: Red for “Emergency Call: and amber for Call Placed/Normal Call, and green for Silence.

Terminations: Six position terminal block.

Mounting: Flush

Power Requirements: 24 VDC
