Pacific Electronics NCB Code Blue Stations are used in the NC-9100 Nurse Call System to provide a means of registering a code blue call from a staff person to the master annunciator. This is the highest priority call in the Nurse Call System and is intended for life threatening situations that require immediate response from a team of trained medical personnel.

OPERATION
When the push button on the code blue station is pressed, the following visual indicators rapidly flash. The red placed LED’s on the code blue station, the red Call Placed LED’s on the duty stations, the dome lamps and the room and Emergency Call LED’s on the annunciator. At the same time, distinct code blue on-off audible tones are ouput at the annunciator duty stations.
Code blue calls have higher priority than emergency and normal calls. Initiation of a code blue call will override normal and emergency calls in the system call annunciation at the annunciator and duty stations

EQUIPMENT
The code blue station is equipped with an alternate action push button switch. In addition, a red Call Placed LED is provided. The face
plate is labeled “ Code Blue” , on a single gang plastic plate for flush mounting.
