Pacific has designed and manufactured
spindle motors for HDD sized from 1.8 to 5
inches, and CD-ROM/DVD drives with 1X to
60Xspeed. Pacific’s motors are being
installed in the PCMCIA HDD for notebook
PC and digital camera spread all over the world.
Pacific has led the world in developing
spindle motors for the 3 inches Notebook PC HDD.
We have developed a streamlined production system including aggressive Factory Automation implementation to enhance quality and productivity. All our products, including spindle motors for HDDs, are manufactured by these automated production systems. In the clean room, utilizing our own internally developed automated machinery, we continuously produce high precision motors for HDDs with high speed and high precision.

Our highly flexible automated production line allows us to easily meet changes in product specifications or design. Our unique flexible mass production system is ready to meet with our customer’s demand forever progressing technological innovation and shorter product life-cycles.

High precision motors cannot take even a nano-second of dust. We pay strict attention to maintaining the cleanliness in the production environment and our high precision motors are manufactured in extra-high cleanliness graded class 100 environment or better, using clean room, clean air bench and our unique technical know-how.

Each production facility has a Quality Assurance department which is supervised by corporate Quality Assurance, to coordinate, implement and insure consistent application of our strict quality control standards. The product development department in our Central Laboratories is responsible to analyze and evaluate our product to improve quality.
