TELEPHONIC APARTMENT STATIONS
System Description - The Pacific Telephonic Intercom system is a high quality and cost effective system for any retrofit or new construction project up to 1,000 apartments. This system uses a telephone handset in each apartment to communicate with the building entrance. Because it is simple to use, we recommend this system for handicapped and senior citizen housing. In installations replacing old carbon microphone systems, the telephonic system can often use the same wiring and thus reduce installation time. In addition to the standard functions, additional buttons can be added to the handset to call remote building locations.
System Operation - The Pacific Telephonic system allows for two-way conversation between a building entrance and a telephone handset in the apartment. The visitor pushes the appropriate button on the lobby panel to call the tenant’s apartment. Picking up the handset establishes two-way communication between the tenant and visitor. The tenant uses the door button on the handset to allow the visitor to enter the building.
Wiring Requirements - Four common wires and on unique signal wire.
