System
Description - The Pacific Three
Wire conversation system enables building owners to upgrade
existing bell/buzzer systems to intercom systems using the existing
wiring. Because installation time is greatly reduced, the three
wire system is an excellent, cost effective system. This system
is not, however, recommended for building with more than 30
units.
System Operation - The Pacific
system allows for two-way conversation between an apartment
and a building entrance. A visitor initiates a call to an apartment
using a push-button on the lobby panel. The tenant pushes the
talk and listen buttons on the apartment station alternately
to communicate with the visitor. The tenant may allow the visitor
to enter the building by pushing the door button on the apartment
station.

System
Description - The Pacific Four
Wire Intercom system is designed for upgrading existing systems
and for new construction up to 100 apartments with just four
wires, replacing an old system is fast and easy. For oversized
locations use the RH6 adaptor plate. In the new construction
the four wire system is the best choice for high-quality, low-maintenance
system.

Single
System Description - The Pacific
Six Wire System is designed for new single entrance systems
up to 200 units. The Classically designed 3406 is a high quality
apartment station which provided top of the line sound quality
for larger buildings.
System Operation
- The Pacific Six Wire System provides two-way communication
between an apartment and a building entrance. The visitor pushes
a button on the lobby panel to call an apartment. The tenant
uses the talk and listen buttons. Alternately to communicate
with the visitor. The door button is used to allow the visitor
to enter the building.
Dual System Description - The Pacific Six Wire
System is designed for dual entrance systems is designed for
dual entrance systems up to 200 units. The P12A allows the tenant
to release the door from which the call is made. The P12A is
cost effective choice for dual
entrance systems.
System Operation
- The Pacific Six Wire System provides Two-way communication
between an apartment and two building entrances.The visitor
pushes a button on the lobby panel to call an apartment. The
tone on the apartment station will be different depending on
which entrance is calling. The tenant uses a slide switch to
communicate with the visitor and uses another slide switch marked
entry 1 and entry 2 to allow the visitor to enter the building.
Wiring Requirements
- Five common wires and one unique signal wire are required
per apartment.
Note: If using
a 3406 station for dual entrance, an AF1000 amplifier and an
AF3600 transfer unit are needed with a UM598TM transformer for
each. If using a P12A station for dual entrance,an AF1000 amplifier
and an RB03 relay box are needed with only one UM598TM transformer.

Single
System Description - The Pacific
Bi-Directional Intercom System is designed for new construction
up to 1000 apartments. The bi-directional system is recommended
for senior citizen and handicapped housing because a single
button on the apartment station operates the talk and listen
functions simultaneously. Additional buttons can be added to
the apartment stations and used to call remote building locations.(
Consult factory)
