Pacific Electronics Corp - APM300 Door Monitor System

General - Provide and install a door monitor call system for audibly and visually annunciating door entry at a master control panel. The door alarms may be individually reset at the master control panel as well as by -passed during certain hours of the day.

System Operation - Opening a door that is armed shall provide the following indications at a master annunciator panel: flash a specific door LED, flash a common call placed LED, and sound an alarm tone. The alarm may be reset or by-passed at the master annunciator panel by depressing the associated door push button. This causes the Call Placed LED to stop flashing, the specific door LED to illuminate continuously, and the alarm tone to extinguish. Each door or zone has an individual door reset/bypass push button and LED. Releasing a reset/by-pass push button turns off the associated LED and arms the door circuit.

Annunciator Panel - Provide a APM300 series master annunciator having a 4-zone DM4 door sentry modules. Each DM4 module shall have four individual door reset/bypass push buttons with associated LEDs. The minimum system shall have one DM4 module or four zones. The maximum capacity shall be 42 DM4 modules or 168 zones; the minimum increment is one DM4 or four zones. This annunciator shall also contain a common call placed LED, an alarm tone speaker and a momentary action tone silencing push button. When activated, the tone silencing circuitry shall automatically reset after the alarm is reset. Each button cap on the DM4 modules) shall be marked with the door identity. The APM300 panel (s) should be constructed of anodized clear aluminum and shall be supplied with a recess mounting frame.For parallel operation of master annunciators, specify Model DM4P door sentry modules in place of the DM4 modules. The features and operation shall be identical to the above except that either master annunciator can arm or disarm/bypass individual doors.

Control Unit - Provide a Model FMC28/29 control unit. It provides a volume control and jumper option for a pulsating or steady alarm signal tones. The overall size for both control units shall be 8.625” long x 5.562” wide x 2” deep.

Power Supply - Provide a Model UM598TM transformer.

Door Contacts - Provide a Pacific Electronics mechanical door or window contacts. Specify Model #92670000 (magnetic door contacts)
