Function:
Located in the patient’s room, the 9100 Series Patient Station enables the patient to call the
nurse by simply depressing the call button on the cord set.

The standard patient station includes either single or dual cord set receptacles and a combination
Reset switch/call placed light indicator mounted to a stainless steel faceplate.

1. Patient Station mechanism shall consist of a printed circuit board assembly mounted to a single gang, stainless steel faceplate.
(A). Printed circuit board assembly shall consist of relay switching circuitry combination push-button reset switch/call placed light indicator, and cord set receptacle (s) equipped with dummy plugs.

2. The combination push-button Reset switch/ call placed light indicator shall illuminate white when a call is placed. Calls shall only be cancellable at the Patient Station by depressing the reset button.

3. Call placed lamp shall be sub-miniature, part GE# 7387 or equal replaceable from the front with an average life expectancy of 50,000 hours.

4. The cord set receptacle shall accept all standard Pacific cord sets not controlling entertainment functions. Accidental removal of the cord set shall initiate an automatic call placement. Cancellation of the call shall be accomplished by depressing the reset button after restoring the cord set to its receptacle.

5. It shall be possible at the time of installation of the Patient Station to change call placement from normal to emergency without the change or addition of any components.

6. 8” color coded wire leads shall be provided skinned for wire nut connection.

7. Patient Station shall be mountable on a single gang electrical backbox.
